Goodbye, My Beloved (Part 6)

As Nox targeted that sensitive spot deep inside me, I felt the desire I thought I’d already released surge back, and with each wave, he left another mark on my body.

“Let’s get out now.”

Perhaps I was overheating, because I began to feel faint. Nox helped me out of the bathroom, carefully drying my body before laying me down on the bed. The sound of the creaking bed echoed in the room.

Nox’s hand cupped my cheek, his fingers brushing the corner of my eye. He wiped away my tears over and over, but each time, more droplets fell.

“I love you.”

The heat consumed me. His whispered words in my ear broke the dam, and the tears flowed uncontrollably. I was happy, yet it hurt so much. My body was warm, but my heart felt bitterly cold.

As my body was rocked and I was made to moan, I engraved Nox into my very being with every thrust. Hey, Nox. Meeting you has made me truly happy.

“Ah, ngh, ah…”

We came together, our release mingling as we basked in the afterglow. I closed my eyes, letting myself be held, my hair gently stroked. It felt like he was telling me not to go anywhere, and I bit my lip to hold back more tears.

“…I love you.”

“I love you too, Sol.”

“Hehe, I’m so happy.”

Even if those words were spoken out of pity, they still made me genuinely happy. Wrapped in the warmth of happiness, I drifted into a light sleep. If I could just stay like this, I felt there could be no greater joy.

“Sol… stay by my side forever.”

His whispered words were hard to make out in my hazy state, and I couldn’t muster a response.

When I wake up, I’ll leave this place. Just before my consciousness slipped away, I made that vow to myself once more.
